It is, however reasonably good value for the money, and its portability is its best feature. I had hoped this would replace my older regular desktop scanner, but unfortunately no. The other disappointment is that when scanning regular narrow receipts, the paper usually starts turning to one side or the other, resulting in a less than perfectly shaped image. That, however, is rather limited, but adequate. PageManager Software, of course, is included, but after several attempts to communicate with and get information from their customer service dept., I realised that the only practical approach was to use the included DSmobile Capture Mac interface. However, if you're a Mac user, the software available is rather limited. Windows 10 Compatibility If you upgrade from Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 to Windows 10, some features of the installed drivers and software may not work correctly.
